Job summary

Octavius Infrastructure is seeking a Machine Operative / Excavator Operator for the A29 Barnham Road Roundabout project in West Sussex. You will work within our Regional Civil Engineering team, operating an excavator and supporting drainage and civils works on site.

You will be part of a close-knit delivery team, prioritising safety, daily equipment checks and efficient, right-first-time execution while collaborating with Gangers, Engineers and Site Managers.

Qualifications

• Experienced Excavator Operator with focus on safety and efficiency.
• Willingness to perform daily equipment checks and maintenance.
• Understanding of safe plant operation on civil engineering sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator safely and efficiently on site.
• Perform daily checks and assist with drainage and civils tasks.
• Coordinate with site team (Gangers, Engineers, Site Managers) to deliver works safely.
