SoCode Limited in the United Kingdom seeks an Experienced Embedded Software Consultant to protect the UKs Defence and Homeland Security through hands-on, cutting-edge technology. The role requires security clearance eligibility, a strong background in embedded systems, Linux, and C/C++, with opportunities to influence system architectures and testing

Qualifications

• Eligibility for UK security clearance is required.
• We are not able to offer UKVI sponsorship for this role.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong track record of designing and implementing robust technical solutions.
• A relevant degree is required.
• Confidence working in Linux.
• Experience in C and at least one additional language (C++, C#, or MATLAB).
• Experience with ARM bare-metal or RTOS development would be an advantage.
• Experience with high-level software architecture would be an advantage.
• Experience with embedded debugging techniques would be an advantage.
• Experience in electronics development and hands-on debugging would be an advantage.
• Experience scripting for test, automation, or signal processing using Python or MATLAB would be an advantage.
• Engineers from any sector are encouraged to apply.
• Defence experience is welcomed but not essential.

Salary: £50,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements

• Eligibility for UK security clearance is required.

• We are looking for 3+ years of experience in embedded software development.


• We want a strong track record of designing and implementing robust technical solutions.
