Job summary
Energy Jobline ATTB is recruiting an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to cover Gloucester and surrounding GL postcodes. The role offers a strong basic salary of £43,000–£48,000 with overtime, stand-by payments, and a company van with fuel card and tools.
You will service and repair domestic gas boilers and heating systems, perform gas safety inspections, and deliver excellent customer service in private homes. ACS CCN1 and CENWAT are required; CKR1, HTR1 and CPA1 desirable.
Qualifications
- Experience diagnosing and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience using a multimeter.
- Knowledge of gas safety and boiler diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on domestic gas boilers and heating systems.
- Carry out servicing and gas safety inspections.
- Deliver excellent customer service within private homes.
- Use technical expertise to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
- Work independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
