Experienced Cover Supervisors – Supply Roles Across Plymouth Schools

We are looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to join our team and work on a flexible, supply basis across a range of schools in Plymouth. This role is ideal for individuals who are confident in managing a classroom and already have experience working in this capacity.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, maintaining classroom order, and ensuring students remain engaged in the absence of their regular teacher. Your ability to manage behaviour and support learning is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising classes during teacher absences

Delivering set lesson plans and facilitating classroom activities

Managing behaviour in accordance with school policies

Providing feedback to teaching staff on student behaviour and participation

Creating a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor is essential

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Flexibility to work in different schools and adapt quickly to new environments

A proactive, professional approach

A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
