We’re looking for an experienced conveyancer to join our well-established and successful team at our Snow Hill office in central London. You’ll work alongside highly experienced solicitors who are experts in their field.

The Role

This role is ideal for someone with experience managing a diverse caseload, including freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, and new build transactions. You’ll manage a varied residential property caseload, dealing with all aspects of conveyancing transactions using the industry’s leading case management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload, monitoring and delivering fully against personal targets
• Independently establish priorities and manage deadlines
• Proactively and efficiently manage transactions while managing client expectations
• Maintain files from opening to completion, ensuring compliance with SLAs and regulatory requirements
• Provide clients with relevant legal advice, recording and advocating for their best interests
• Take instructions from clients and draft necessary legal documents and contracts
• Communicate proactively with solicitors, mortgage lenders, brokers, clients, and authorities
• Handle complex inquiries, researching relevant laws and previous cases for accurate advice
• Identify potential risks and resolve issues without compromising client or business interests
• Comply with Solicitors Regulation Authority Rules at all times
• Ensure correct billing and proper handling of funds upon completion
• Provide supervision and coaching to Paralegals
• Enhance client experience through conveyancing systems and technology
• Deliver excellent service to clients, introducers, and third parties
• Foster a culture of teamwork and high performance with a focus on customer care

What you’ll need

• At least 3 years of experience managing a residential property portfolio from start to finish
• Experience in New Build and Shared Ownership essential
• Thorough understanding of property laws
• Commercial awareness and industry news familiarity
• Resilience and ability to work under pressure and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in research and drafting
• Enthusiasm for high-quality customer service
• Team player and self-starter, capable of working independently
• Flexibility and empathy to meet client needs

This is a full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday.
