What You’ll Do:

1. Advance the performance of coatings on sustainable leather textiles from R&D to production.
2. Collaborate with coating suppliers and universities to develop cutting-edge solutions.
3. Optimise coating effectiveness, assess its impact on product performance and work on scale-up processes from ideation to full-scale manufacturing.
4. Manage your own projects, support production scale developments, and test new coating technologies.
5. Provide recommendations for new technical solutions and work closely with our production facilities.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Education in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science focusing on coatings, polymers, or soft matter.
2. Experience: Minimum of 4 years in the coating industry, ideally experience in industries as diverse as printing, packaging, paint, flooring, moulding, cinema screens, or polymers.
3. Skills: Data analysis, problem-solving, managing external suppliers, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
