Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd has a live CNC Machinist role in Great Yarmouth, offering 39-hour weeks on-site with overtime. You will set up, operate and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components from engineering drawings.

The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC turning and milling, read drawings, adjust tooling and programmes, and maintain quality. Overtime paid at enhanced rates; 25 days leave plus holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining within precision engineering or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and CNC programmes.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery.
• Knowledge of tooling, offsets and machining processes.
• Strong attention to detail and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select tooling and carry out machine setups.
• Make programme adjustments and offsets to meet tolerances.
• Inspect finished components using measurement equipment.
• Maintain quality standards and production deadlines.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the area safe.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain efficiency.
