Job summary

Driver Hire Glasgow is recruiting a Class 2 (HGV2) driver for ongoing Monday to Friday work in the Mount Vernon area (G32). The position is currently short-term with potential to become long-term for the right candidate.

Applicants must hold UK C licence with digital tacho card and full CPC, have experience in skips, ROR, or waste driving, and have no more than 6 points. Good knowledge of driver hours and regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• UK C licence with digital tacho card and full CPC.
• Experience of either Skips, Roll on Roll off, or Waste Driving.
• No more than 6 points for minor offences.
• An understanding of driver hours and regulations.

Due to an increase in business Driver Hire Glasgow are looking to recruit a Class 2, HGV 2, Cat C, with experience of either skips, roll on / roll off or waste drivingfor ongoing Monday to Friday work in the Mount Vernon area (G32) for a short term immediate start contract - potential to be long term for the right applicant.

Requirements

• An understanding of driver hours and regulations

Pay and Hours

• Pay / PAYE rate from £14.14 basic pay & £18.80 overtime pay
• Working for Driver Hire Glasgow you will be accrue holiday pay pension benefits all PAYE and National Insurance is paid directly to HMRC.
• The working pattern may be variable, with overtime payments after 8 hours .
