Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates Ltd is seeking an Experienced Children’s Social Worker to join the Access & Assessment Team in Greater London. You will undertake initial and comprehensive assessments, plan services, and support families to implement plans while reviewing needs and risks.

The role requires a Social Work qualification and a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience in permanent Social Work roles. A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Social Work qualification and have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience in permanent Social Work roles.
• Experience within Children's Social Work is required.
• A flexible, resilient and reflective approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake initial and comprehensive assessments of children in need within the Access & Assessment Team.
• Plan how needs will be met, support families to implement plans, and review/reassess as required.
• Act as first point of contact for safeguarding concerns and requests for support.
• Promote positive change while managing risks of abuse and neglect.
