YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:

• Prepare, cook, serve and store various dishes to include meat, fish and shellfish
• Prepare Regional Dishes appropriate to the hotel menu, location and guest mix
• Provide direction to the Kitchen staff, including Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters
• Communicate to Line Manager any difficulties, guest or internal customer comments and other relevant information
• Attend and participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
• Prepare in advance any food, beverage, materials and equipment needed for service
• Clean and re-set working area

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Previous experience in a Chef De Partie role OR 3yrs previous experience in a Commis Chef role
• Ability to plan, prioritise and multitask
• Previous work experience in a hotel setting is desired (Marriott Brand is preferred)
