Job Description:

We are looking to add a caring and committed Care Assistant to our team. Your role involves helping people in their homes to be comfortable, safe, and healthy. You will assist with daily tasks and encourage independence, significantly improving their quality of life.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support individuals in daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication management.
• Implement care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide emotional support.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report changes in clients' conditions.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience in home care or care homes is preferred but not essential.
• Strong English communication skills are necessary.
• Basic IT skills are advantageous.
• A willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

Paid mileage

£13 per hour plus 15p per mile.

Our recruitment process:

2. Attend a virtual or in-person interview at our Stafford Office.
3. Complete onboarding and provide right to work documents.
4. Attend our funded training day.
5. Visit our Stafford office for induction, PPE, uniform, and shadow shifts.
6. Start your long-term employment with us.

A driving license and a car are required due to the nature of the role.

School hour work is offered as a 0-hour contract. We also offer permanent contracts from 10 to 37.5 hours per week with plenty of work across Staffordshire.
