An established industry player in civil engineering is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their dynamic accounts team. This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with a supportive team, managing payroll and bookkeeping tasks across multiple companies. Datom are a leading family owned group of companies operating within the Civils, Electrical, Property Construction and Utility sectors. The head office is based in the Walsall area with multiple working sites in and around the West Midlands.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a close, proactive team within a fast-paced, busy office. The role has become available due to upcoming maternity leave, alongside increased growth across the companies requiring additional team members in the accounts department.
We are looking for the right candidate to fit within our existing team. It is equally important that the individual has a positive, can-do attitude and the outlook to integrate well with our team, which works very closely together every day.
The role involves providing experienced bookkeeping assistance within the accounting functions of each company, as well as preparing and completing weekly payroll responsibilities. The position may also include some day-to-day administration tasks to assist the directors in ensuring procedures are completed efficiently.
This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week from the head office. Experience with Sage Line 50 accounting and payroll software is essential. Please do not apply if you lack the relevant experience.
