Join Our Team as an Experienced Barista!

Are you an experienced barista with a passion for coffee and leadership? We are looking for a dedicated individual to bring their skills and expertise to our vibrant café in Islington, ensuring high-quality service and smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve exceptional coffee beverages, maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency
• Supervise and support the team during shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
• Provide guidance and training to baristas to develop their skills and confidence
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating team breaks to maintain workflow
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed to ensure adequate stock
• Contribute to a welcoming, clean, and safe café environment for customers and staff
• Collaborate with management to implement promotions and drive sales
• Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture

Requirements:

Proven experience as a skilled barista, with a deep understanding of coffee brewing techniques and equipment. Previous experience in a supervisory or shift leader role within a café or coffee shop. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, customer-first attitude. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. Passion for coffee, food, and café culture. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.

Pay and Benefits:

• £13.00 to £14.00 per hour dependant on experience - Flexible, Full Time and Part Time considered
