Established in 2001, we have built a reputation for friendly but professional service and a quality product. We work hard to achieve this and focus on developing and driving our team to meet the highest standards possible.

We are seeking someone with the passion and energy to be part of the management team and be developed in both our café-bar and restaurant. You will work directly under our senior managers to ensure standards of customer care, staff performance, and health & safety are maintained in all areas and at all times. There will be an emphasis on staff development, cost controls, and sales initiatives.

We are therefore looking for someone with several years of experience, working in a managerial or supervisory position in a similar, fast-paced style of operation. They should be competent in the following areas:

  • Food and beverage service in a busy environment – some wine, spirit, and cocktail knowledge is also essential
  • Events management experience – preferred for support for some weddings and events
  • Daily staff supervision and ongoing training
  • Health and safety, food safety, and allergen compliance

This is an opportunity that will appeal to candidates who have the following personal attributes:

  • A warm, welcoming personality
  • A good listener with an ability to deal with challenging situations calmly
  • An objective view of all staff without any prejudice, ensuring they feel they are being treated fairly at all times and feel part of the team
  • Organised and always planning for the day and week ahead
  • Able to commit to an operation that is open 365 days a year and is open to the public from 7am to 11pm (Sunday to Thursday), midnight (Friday & Saturday). Shift patterns will be varied
  • Take a positive attitude to situations

In return, we will always strive to ensure that our managers are supported in their own development. We can offer the opportunity to take on further responsibility within different areas of the business. What we offer:

  • OTE £36,000 per annum
  • Flexible work pattern with work-life balance, reasonable working hours

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £36,000.00 per year
