About Easneye Estate

Easneye Estate is a family-run business nestled in the Ash Valley, northeast of Ware. Covering 1,000 hectares—700 hectares dedicated to arable cropping and stewardship—we champion a no-till farming system and manage a conservation-focused shoot.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Arable Operator to join our close-knit team. You will work with minimal supervision, ensuring efficiency and precision in all field operations. This position offers genuine progression towards supervisory and broader estate management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain self-propelled Sands Horizon sprayer
• Drill seed using the Horizon DSX direct drill
• Conduct field work with John Deere tractors
• Provide relief combine driving as required
• Carry out general farm duties and estate maintenance

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Full UK driving licence
• PA1 & PA2 pesticide application certifications
• Competency with precision agriculture technology
• Basic machinery maintenance, servicing, and repair skills

Desirable (training provided):

• Telehandler, chainsaw, ATV operation
• First Aid certification
