Job summary

LSIndex is seeking an experienced Animal Technician to join our client on a temporary basis. The role focuses on daily animal husbandry and welfare within our facilities, with potential regulated procedures if you hold a license.

You will perform routine tasks including feeding, weighing, and monitoring animal health. Responsibilities include reporting health issues, providing food and water, environmental enrichment, cleaning, and administering medicines as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Animal Technician is essential.
• Knowledge of ASPA.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• C grade in Maths and English.
• Access to your own transport due to the rural location.

Responsibilities

• Measuring and recording of body weights, food, and water consumption
• Cleaning and sanitisation of all facilities

Are you an Experienced Animal Technician looking for the opportunity to join a friendly, professional company?

We are currently looking for a hardworking, immediately available Animal Technician to join our client on a temporary basis assisting with their workload.

The main purpose of this role is to support daily animal husbandry and welfare within our client’s facilities. You may also be required to perform regulated procedures if you are a license holder.

Your main role as an Animal Technician will include assisting in the daily husbandry and welfare of animals; you will perform daily routine tasks, such as feeding and watering.
