Job description

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for an Experienced Social Worker within the Adult Integrated Hospital Discharge Team to work full time based in Bury.

The salary for this permanent Experienced Social Worker job is up to £41,418 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide professional Social Work services to Adults customers across Adult Operations and Mental Health Services as required.
  2. Promote customers' ability to maintain choice and control of their lives.
  3. Practice social work effectively, exercising high-quality judgments in complex, risky, uncertain, and challenging situations.
  4. Demonstrate initiative, confidence, and independence in interventions, accessing support when needed.
  5. Develop expertise in one or more areas of social work practice, be familiar with local resource networks, and be recognized as a reliable source of knowledge and advice by peers.
  6. As an employee of Bury Council, you have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, ensuring they are protected from harm.
Requirements:
  1. A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  2. Understanding of relevant legislation.
  3. Registered or eligible for registration.
