About the role

Kinneir Dufort (KD) is a world-class user-centred innovation and product development consultancy, specialising in the medical and consumer health sectors. As part of the SteriPack group, we collaborate globally with contract manufacturing facilities in Europe, the USA and Asia, alongside additional design and product development teams in New Jersey and Colorado.

We're looking for a creative and curious Experience Designer to craft intuitive digital products through user-centred design. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design user flows, wireframes, prototypes and interfaces using tools like Figma and Miro. From research and testing to workshops and concept development, you'll help shape engaging user experiences for our clients.

You'll learn from senior designers, support junior colleagues, and contribute to business development: growing your skills in a dynamic, passionate design team.

About you

You may will have a few years’ experience designing digital interfaces in either a healthcare start-up or UX design agency and are looking for a new environment and challenges that will help you develop and build your UX and interface design skills.

You’ll be willing to engage with complex design problems, deliver top-quality work and collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team while focusing on excellent client care.

Ultimately your design approach, willingness to learn, attitude and how you approach working with clients are what is important to us. We offer a premier service to our clients and take great pride and care in the designs we create and the process of discovering them.

Whilst you do not need to meet all of these points, please ensure you meet the majority of them before making an application:

Demonstrable experience working in a similar professional environment and an undergraduate degree level or equivalent training/ experience.

Proficiency using modern tools like Figma and a good understanding of interaction design.

Experience in defining and working with product requirements.

Understanding of or experience with information architecture and other UX methods.

Designing usable and effective workflows for complex and safety-critical use cases.

Experience translating user needs into functional wireframes and prototypes.

A curious mindset, driven by insights and an eye for detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

A drive to learn and grow, especially in a consultancy environment.

Experience in user research, accessibility, or service design is a bonus, but not required.

The salary for this role is up to £45,000 per annum.
