Job summary

HCA Healthcare UK is seeking an Expanse Pharmacy Analyst with paediatric clinical expertise to support the digitalisation of paediatric services at our London base. The role focuses on safe clinical design, requirements gathering and testing of medication pathways, while advancing an Electronic Health Record system.

The successful candidate will work on-site at least two days per week, contribute to clinical design, and collaborate across teams to ensure safe patient care while delivering

Qualifications

• Senior Clinical Pharmacist with paediatric exposure and NHS/private hospital experience.
• Experience delivering medicines/clinical workflows and digital transformation solutions.
• Experience implementing or maintaining an EHR or related clinical system.
• UK-recognised pharmacy qualification and active GPHC registration.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and contribute to safe clinical design for digitalised paediatric pathways.
• Support build, testing, and maintenance of the electronic health record and medication workflows.
• Collaborate with business colleagues to ensure service delivery and system updates; work on-site at least 2 days per week.

Based at London Bridge
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm Hybrid (at least 2 days on site)

We’re looking for a Expanse Pharmacy Analyst with experience in Paediatrics to join our team based in London for a maternity cover. With the recent launch of our Electronic Health Record, we are looking for an experienced Pharmacist, working as an Analyst to support the existing team, as we advance the digitalisation of our paediatric services.

What You’ll Do

As an Expanse Pharmacy analyst, the postholder will bring paediatric clinical pharmacy expertise, to support the progressive digitalisation of our paediatric services. This role is critical in ensuring effective requirements gathering, safe clinical design, build and testing of digitalised medication pathways, as well as working with business colleagues to support service delivery and maintenance of the System, incorporating implementation of updates, assuring safe clinical practices. There is an expectation that the post holder will work on site a minimum of 2 days per week.

What You’ll Bring

• Senior Clinical / Clinical Systems Pharmacist experience, in NHS or Private Hospital System
• Clinical Paediatric Pharmacy Operational Experience
• Experience of delivering medicines/ clinical workflow/ digital transformation solutions
• Implementation and/or maintenance of an EHR, or part thereof
• M. Pharm /M.Sc. Pharm/ similar, equivalent U.K recognised Pharmacist qualification
• Licensed Pharmacist: current GPHC Registration (General Pharmaceutical Council)
• Post-graduate clinical qualification (advantageous)
