Job summary

Luso Exhibition seeks an experienced Exhibition Stand Builder to assemble and install bespoke and modular stands at venues across the UK and Europe.

You will read stand plans, work with project managers and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery. The role involves site clearance after events, basic repairs, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Practical skills in exhibition stand construction, carpentry or joinery, and use of hand and power tools.
• Reading and interpreting stand plans or technical drawings.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices and on-site compliance.
• Teamwork and communication for coordinating with contractors, clients and colleagues.
• Good time management and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
• Previous experience in exhibition build, events construction, shopfitting, or related trades is beneficial.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including early starts, evenings and occasional weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to venues across the UK and Europe is an advantage.

Job description

The role involves assembling and installing custom and modular exhibition stands, carrying out dismantling and site clearance after events, and performing on-site adjustments and basic repairs as needed.

The Exhibition Stand Builder will handle materials and equipment safely, support transport and logistics coordination, and ensure all tasks comply with health and safety standards.

Day-to-day work includes reading and interpreting stand plans, collaborating with project managers and other subcontractors, and maintaining a clean and organised work area.

Qualifications
