A leading UK recruitment platform is seeking an Exhibition Project Manager based in Amesbury. The role involves overseeing exhibition installations, coordinating with teams, and ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets. Candidates should have experience or be willing to learn about the exhibition industry, with potential for full training provided. Due to industry nature, some late nights and weekends may be required. Applicants must currently reside in the UK and possess full rights to work without needing sponsorship.
Exhibition Project Manager, Cheshire, £35-40k+ (depends on experience)
You will need to have a proven background working within Exhibition Design and Build arena, ideally with hands on experience of working both in the office and attending sites during build/breakdown.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and assist with all relevant duties pre, on-site and post exhibition installation.
* Prepare and maintain accurate project plans and schedules, acting appropriately should the activity change.
* Attend Project team/planning meetings, taking ownership of projects/actions where required.
* Create and deliver the relevant crew documentation in conjunction with assigned projects.
* Working within a small team being self-motivated and willing to get involved in multiple/varied projects.
* Liaising with internal departments to ensure all elements of the project are on schedule, within budget and delivered to a high standard.
* Communicating with show organisers in all aspects of event planning and organisation.
* Build and maintain relationships with existing contractors and suppliers.
* Produce all relevant Health & Safety documentations and ensure all submission deadlines are met.
* General project admin including placing service orders, raising PO’s and keeping all internal systems updated.
* Working closely with our workshop in the UK and various European contractors, scheduling their travel/accommodation and transport requirements for each show.
* Create and manage all international custom documents for export and imports of non-perishable goods.
* Attending various Exhibitions shows (UK, and potentially Oversees)
Experience & Skills
* Competent in Microsoft Office Software
* Interpersonal and communication skills
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work under pressure
* Project Management
* Knowledge of Auto-CAD (desirable but not essential)
* Confident in travelling alone or as part of a team
* Experience in the exhibition industry is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Due to the nature of the industry, there could be times when you will need to work outside conventional office hours – including late nights and weekends.
