Are you looking for a new challenge Rushcliffe Borough Council have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual to join us as Executive Support Assistant to our Senior Management Team.

Location: Rushcliffe, NG2 7YG

Salary: £27,600 - £29,181 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Rushcliffe Borough Council provides high quality services to more than 110,000 residents in a borough made up of vibrant towns and stunning villages. Our Council offices are located in West Bridgford, Nottingham in a purpose built office and leisure centre facility, Rushcliffe Arena.

Executive Support Assistant - The Role:

As the first point of contact for enquiries relating to the Senior Management Team, and the first person to welcome visitors on their behalf, you will be expected to uphold and enhance the excellent reputation of Rushcliffe Borough Council.

You will be working at the heart of the organisation supporting Directors and the wider management team, so your work will fundamentally contribute to the smooth running and success of the organisation, helping us to continue delivering the best service for our residents.

There is an expectation that you will work from our offices at Rushcliffe Arena on average 5 days a week.

Executive Support Assistant - Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide efficient and effective administrative and clerical support to the Executive Management Team (EMT) and Heads of Service (HoS)
  • Preparing and sending appropriate responses or directing correspondence as appropriate to a Head of Service orother officers
  • Support with preparing presentations, briefings and reports
  • Organise and prepare meetings including all documentation - agendas, reports and information packs, previous minutes

Executive Support Assistant - You:

  • Experience of working in a busy and fast-paced environment
  • Experience of meeting deadlines and working effectively under pressure
  • Experience of working in an administrative role and/or environment
  • Experience of supporting senior team members with a range of tasks
  • Good general numeracy, literacy and communication skills
