A prominent UK university seeks an Executive Support Staff member in Bristol. This full-time role entails providing comprehensive administrative support in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include diary management, responding to inquiries, and supporting health and safety initiatives. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a keen attention to detail. This role offers a mix of campus-based and remote working opportunities.
About this role
Non-student facing, the SRM Executive Support Team (a small team of four people) provide administrative and operational support to around 200 staff.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment, is flexible and able to juggle multiple tasks whilst ensuring attention to detail.
The role may involve a proportion of the following:
Providing a proactive executive support service including active diary management, organisation and administration of meetings and functions
Responding to administration related enquiries from staff - including triaging generic email inbox, travel requests, contracts, supporting recruitment.
Providing support for health and safety – collating health and safety checklists, reporting and recording issues
Updating the Department’s intranet site (on SharePoint/Microsoft Teams) – updating guidance and process documents, ensuring information is easily accessible
Recording and updating changes in staffing
Supporting projects eg Clearing
Undertaking routine financial transactions involving purchase orders, invoices, credit card, reconciliation, processing international student fee payments
Recording and updating IT equipment inventory

Interviews are scheduled to take place at our Frenchay Campus on 4th of September 2025.
This is a full time, fixed-term post until 31/07/2026, working 37 hours per week. This post is not available on a job share basis.
