The Role

The Role: Executive Search Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Executive Search Consultant to deliver high-quality, bespoke search services to senior leaders and organisations. This role combines client relationship management, business development, and senior candidate engagement. You will focus on building long-term partnerships while proactively developing new business opportunities across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and secure retained and contingent executive search assignments.
  • Manage complex executive-level recruitment projects from briefing to placement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Achieve sales and gross profit targets in line with KPIs.
  • Contribute to tenders, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Represent Staffline at industry events and networking opportunities.

Client Management

  • Provide consultative advice on executive hiring strategies.
  • Deliver market insights on salary benchmarking, talent availability, and hiring trends.
  • Conduct regular client visits and service reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records on the CRM system (Stellar).

Candidate Management

  • Source, assess, and engage senior-level candidates across multiple sectors.
  • Provide detailed interview preparation and career advice.
  • Manage the offer process, including negotiations and counteroffers.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of executive talent.
  • Provide constructive feedback and ongoing candidate support.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client and candidate interactions.
  • Provide regular reports and market insights to the Head of Executive Search.
What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Recruitment Consultant in a performance-driven environment.
  • Proven track record in winning new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of executive recruitment practices and performance metrics.
  • Skilled in LinkedIn Recruiter, including Boolean search and pipeline management.
  • Active in professional networks with a strong personal brand presence.
  • Degree-level education.
  • Full driving licence or access to transport (travel required).
