Job description

Description

We’re recruiting an experienced Executive Reward Manager on a permanent or a 12 month fixed term contract basis to manage AXA UK Executive reward, including the delivery of the annual Executive Reward process, reviewing policies and providing specialist advice to the business and HR stakeholders.

You’ll have experience working with Executive compensation and benefits best practices, ideally in the Financial Services sector, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reward strategies for both AXA UK and Ireland (UK&I). If you’re passionate about creating a rewarding and engaging work environment, we'd love to hear from you.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at our Bristol location, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading on ad hoc and cyclical Executive reward activities including the annual Executive Reward Review, exits/joiners and market benchmarking.
  • Enabling both UK&I Remuneration Committee processes (including agenda setting and paper drafting).
  • Ensuring compliance and appropriate governance is followed.
  • Managing the delivery of AXA’s equity-settled long term incentive plans.
  • Advising senior partners including HR Directors and the Head of Reward at AXA UK&I.
  • Building relationships with senior stakeholders in the business (including AXA subsidiary entities), at AXA Group level and externally to ensure Executive Reward at AXA UK&I remains relevant and compliant.

What you’ll bring:

  • Executive reward expertise working within large organisations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing workloads.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to build relationships and partner with senior stakeholders, including Board members.
  • Awareness of Financial Services Reward and the regulatory environment.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

What we offer:

At AXA UK, we’re appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that. You can expect to receive:

  • Competitive annual salary of up to £70,000 dependent on experience.
  • Annual company & performance-based bonus.
  • Contributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contributions).
  • Life Assurance (up to 10 x annual salary).
  • 28 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
  • Opportunity to buy up to 5 extra days leave or sell up to 5 days leave.
  • AXA employee discounts.
  • Gym benefits.
