Overview

A new digital network focused on UK sport is set to launch across multiple YouTube channels. Combining original entertainment, creator-led programming, and culturally connected sports commentary, this platform is built for modern fans. With a particular focus on football and broad coverage across the sporting landscape, it aims to become a leading voice in unfiltered sports content.

This role is a unique opportunity to lead the creative development, production delivery, and editorial voice of a brand-new content network.

The Role

The Executive Producer (Sport) will oversee all aspects of content creation, from concept through to publication. This includes developing standout original formats, collaborating closely with talent, and managing a high-performing production team. The successful candidate will shape the tone, visual identity, and direction of the network, while ensuring content reaches and resonates with a wide digital audience.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with deep production experience and a clear understanding of what drives engagement on YouTube.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the launch and ongoing development of a multi-channel YouTube network focused on UK sport
• Develop and produce original series and formats in collaboration with creators, athletes, and presenters
• Manage a multi-million-pound annual production budget with attention to scale and output quality
• Build and lead a team of producers, editors, and creatives based in the UK
• Guide content strategy, programming, and publishing plans across all channels
• Ensure creative consistency, editorial standards, and a clear on-screen identity
• Oversee full production cycles including planning, scripting, filming, post-production, and delivery
• Monitor content performance and apply insights to drive viewership and subscriber growth
• Stay across platform trends, algorithm updates, and best practices within the YouTube ecosystem
• Work alongside internal teams on marketing, partnerships, and audience development

Ideal Background

• Strong experience producing content within the UK sports landscape, ideally on YouTube or other digital platforms
• Demonstrated success in creating original video formats that engage sports audiences
• Experience managing creative teams and working closely with on-screen talent
• Familiarity with fast-paced, high-volume digital production environments
• Clear understanding of UK sports culture, with a particular knowledge of football
• Confident in managing both creative direction and production logistics
• Skilled at balancing creativity with performance and growth objectives
