Overview
The University of Southampton Delhi launches in Summer 2025. Delivered in partnership with Oxford International Education Group (OIEG), and located in Gurgaon, Delhi, this initiative responds to India’s New Education Policy and represents a significant investment in transnational education.
The new campus aims to provide students with the opportunity to earn a globally recognized degree from a QS World Top 100 university in Delhi NCR.
Job purpose
We are seeking an experienced Executive Officer to lead, manage, and coordinate executive support within the Office of the Academic Provost, Director of Learning and Teaching, and Director of Research and Enterprise. The role ensures the delivery of business-critical services aligned with strategic objectives.
This is a vital new position providing high-quality, confidential executive support to university leaders. Responsibilities include managing complex diaries, exercising judgment, and offering detailed, specialist advice as needed.
The ideal candidate will be proficient, dynamic, and possess substantial relevant experience in similar roles within complex environments, including managing offices for senior executives or equivalent positions. If you meet these criteria, we encourage you to apply.
You should be a self-starter with excellent command of English and possess a qualification equivalent to a degree or a secretarial and/or word-processing certification (or equivalent experience).
