The Parking Enforcement Processing Unit (PEPU) is part of the Department for Infrastructure and is based in Co Hall, Omagh.
PEPU’s primary objective is to reduce traffic congestion and improve highway and pedestrian safety by reducing illegally parked vehicles. Annually, 120,000 to 160,000 Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) are issued and administered by PEPU.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours are operated in the office. Duties are carried out on a daily rota basis, with occasional in-office responsibilities between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, such as telephone duties. There may be an opportunity to work from home once fully trained. The EOII role within Omagh PEPU is a Team Lead position, responsible for managing a busy team.
Must have 5 GCSEs including Maths & English and 2 A levels in separate subjects (certificates required).
