Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Associate Director of Nursing for Quality & Safety to join the Nursing Directorate leadership team. The role provides strategic nursing leadership and oversight across quality, patient safety, governance and organisational learning.

You will work with senior clinical and operational leaders to shape quality strategy, respond to risk and translate learning into improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant senior NHS leadership experience in quality, patient safety and governance.
• Experience interpreting complex quality data into clear priorities and actions.
• Ability to influence senior clinical, operational and corporate leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic nursing leadership across quality, patient safety, governance and organisational learning.
• Lead across a broad portfolio including PSIRF, Learning from Deaths and mortality governance, and quality assurance.
• Translate learning into measurable improvements and provide expert advice to senior leaders, committees and the Board.
• Foster compassionate, values-led leadership and effective communication in a complex NHS environment.
