Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an experienced Executive MCL Adjuster / Surveyor in Glasgow to manage high-value commercial property claims through investigation and settlement. You’ll work independently and with a specialist team, supporting clients with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

• A full UK Driving Licence – essential for site visits.
• Solid experience handling major and complex commercial property claims.
• Excellent communication skills – you listen, explain clearly, and negotiate fairly.
• Confidence working independently and managing your own caseload.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritise and adapt.
• Strong IT skills, ideally with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• ACII/ACILA or equivalent qualifications (or working towards them).
• A professional, empathetic approach to client relationships.
• Experience in account management or market profiling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-value commercial property claims, including material damage and business interruption.
• Lead claims from initial investigation to final settlement with professionalism.
• Collaborate with Adjusting Executives and technical specialists as needed.
• Occasionally conduct on-site visits and compile reports from home or office.
