Job summary
A leading HR consultancy is seeking a Head of Remunerations Department to oversee compensation, benefits, and remuneration policies. The ideal candidate will possess a National Diploma in a relevant field, substantial experience in remuneration practices, and a strong grasp of tax and pension fund administration. This role involves liaising with senior management and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations while managing the HR budget effectively.
Qualifications
- 8 years of extensive remuneration & benefits experience in retail/agricultural industry.
- 5 years as Head of a Remunerations Department.
- Experience with tax laws and social regulatory obligations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all compensation, funds, and benefit programs.
- Develops and monitors remuneration policies, making recommendations to senior management.
- Prepares statutory returns for tax and regulatory obligations.
Skills
Advanced knowledge in employment & compensation
Advanced knowledge in Pension Fund Administration
Excellent MS Office experience
Experience with payroll operating systems
Education
National Diploma related to remuneration/compensation field

Reference:10376 SJConsultant:Sone JohnsonJob Description:Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the incumbent will be responsible for all compensation, funds, and benefit programs. Develops, implements, and monitors remuneration policies, systems, and procedures, making recommendations to senior management regarding same. Responsible for the preparation of statutory returns relating to tax, social and regulatory obligations to the relevant government departments or local authorities. Prepares and follows HR budget including any collective bargaining agreements. Qualifications:- National Diploma related to remuneration/compensation field
- 8 Years' extensive remuneration & benefits experience in a retail and/or agricultural retail related industry of which 5 years as Head of a Remunerations Department.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in employment & compensation, and tax laws
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Pension Fund Administration
- Excellent MS Office and payroll operating systems experience. Experience with SAGE 300 operatin systems will be an advantage
