Job summary

Harlington Hospice in London Borough of Hillingdon seeks a Chief Executive to provide visible leadership, set strategic direction, and maintain high-quality, compassionate care across sites in Harlington and Michael Sobell House.

You will report to the Board, grow services and income, build partnerships with commissioners and donors, and nurture a culture of collaboration, learning and shared ownership while preserving the organisation's values.

Qualifications

• Proven senior executive leadership experience within a CQC-regulated healthcare, hospice or not-for-profit organisation.
• Strong financial acumen with track record of building sustainable income and financial stability.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills with Trustees, donors and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation in delivering the strategic plan and ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.
• Oversee financial health, reserves and sustainability across all activities.
• Develop diverse income streams including NHS funding, fundraising and trading activities.
