Job summary

Practicus is seeking a Head of Clinical to shape clinical strategy, strengthen regulatory governance and drive quality across a growing UK provider of weight management, smoking cessation and preventative health services.

Reporting to the COO and sitting on the SLT, you will build high-performing multidisciplinary teams, ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance, and shape digital health products to support organisational growth and better outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior clinical leadership experience (5+ years) leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Direct experience in clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
• Strong focus on safeguarding, audits and incident management.
• Ability to implement governance structures and risk management frameworks.
• Eligibility for CQC Nominated Individual role and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the overarching clinical strategy across multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead governance, quality, safeguarding and regulatory compliance with incident management.
• Accountable for clinical outcomes, service quality and KPI performance on NHS/local authority contracts.
• Oversee digital health services and evidence-based behavioural programmes.
• Engage senior external stakeholders and support tendering and contract renewals.
