Job summary

Levy UK & Ireland is seeking a Head Chef to lead the culinary vision for one of the UK's most prestigious conference and events destinations, delivering restaurant‑quality menus for fine dining, hospitality, banqueting and large‑scale events.

You will oversee all culinary operations, drive food cost management, source exceptional ingredients, and develop a high‑performing kitchen team while ensuring health and safety compliance and consistent presentation.

Qualifications

• Possession of relevant culinary qualifications such as a degree or diploma in culinary arts or equivalent.
• Proven experience as head chef or senior culinary leader in large-scale events.
• Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in food preparation and cooking to meet high standards.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the kitchen team for a cohesive operation.
• Manage kitchen budget and food costs; source ingredients economically.
• Ensure health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and dietary requirements.
• Maintain consistency in quality and presentation; implement quality control measures.
• Plan and execute catering for events, meetings, and functions.
