Job summary

Berwick-upon-Tweed-based 4-star hotel is seeking an Executive Head Chef to lead a kitchen serving a 1 AA Rosette restaurant, bar, room service and a dynamic events programme. You will report to the Group Executive Chef and mentor a brigade including a Head Chef, while managing budgets and upholding exacting culinary standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate kitchen team to deliver high standards across outlets and events.
• Collaborate with Group Executive Chef to develop menus and raise standards.
• Oversee kitchen operations, food quality, service delivery, health and safety, and compliance.
• Train and develop kitchen staff to create a high-performing environment.
• Drive cost control through menu engineering, stock management, and purchasing.
