As Executive Director of Corporate Resources be part of their journey in continuing to make a real difference to Hull’s residents, businesses and communities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional leadership and delivery across a portfolio of services and strategic oversight of the directorate, including:
  • Finance and transformation
  • ICT
  • Revenue and benefits
  • Audit and fraud
  • Organisation development & HR
  • Legal services (including democratic services, procurement and building and design services)
  • Lead the services vital to the effective running of the council, with a strong commitment to engagement, partnership and teamwork
  • Ensure the council meets all statutory requirements in terms of financial governance
  • Hold responsibility for the legal compliance of the council
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Strong commitment to engagement, partnership and teamwork
  • Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of services with very high standards
  • Experience in financial governance and ensuring statutory compliance
  • Ability to provide strategic oversight and leadership across multiple functions including finance, ICT, HR, and legal services
