PURPOSE OF JOB

Providing FXO sales coverage to institutional clients throughout the UK. The focus will be on the distribution of CIBC's core FXO & E-FXO product suite, aligned to FXO franchise expansion. To contribute significantly to revenue production of FSG.

MAIN OBJECTIVES
  • To generate revenue for the non-CAD FXO business (LIREL) and expand and deepen client relationships to grow CAD FXO business.
  • To manage and enhance the non-bank liquidity relationships.
  • To risk manage the LIREL book and ensure it remains risk-neutral using bank and non-bank liquidity in FX and FXO products.
  • To enhance relationships and increase the product mix sold to existing accounts in a team environment.
  • To retain and strengthen any established relationships the candidate may already have.
  • To prospect new FXO business opportunities.
Skills / Knowledge Required
  • A minimum of 10 years in the financial services industry with experience in FX Sales.
  • The ability to manage senior client relationships and develop new accounts.
  • Proven revenue generator with established client relationships.
  • Willingness to work extended hours.
  • A solid understanding of the FX and broader FICC markets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Computer literacy - Excel, Word, Bloomberg, Reuters, EFX Trading Platforms.
  • Graduate degree in a relevant business field.
  • PRA/FCA qualification.
  • Languages (specify if applicable).
