Arts Gateway MK (https://www.artsgatewaymk.org/) is a small charity with wide-ranging ambitions. We`re appointing our first Executive Director to lead our small milton keynes-based team, bringing together and developing our creative hub Arts Central, our venue The Box Arts Club, MK Literary Festival and costume/equipment hire service, CARC. Fancy a change?

• We currently provide at Arts Central around ¾ of the creative studio space in Milton Keynes – 85 studios - and are devising a programme to support their creativity;
• Our most successful creative programme is MK Lit Fest, now in its eighth year.It`s fully established and ready to grow significantly.
• The lease on our premises runs to 2030, when we expect we`ll have to move out.We`re exploring a number of premises options for delivering our services more widely.
• Like the sector as a whole, our success depends on securing funding, for which we need corporate partners and successful funding bids.
• We`re about to bring into Arts Gateway a sister organisation, Community Arts Resources Centre, which hires costumes and equipment to the community.
• We recently created a 60-80 capacity multi-use presentation space, The Box Arts Club, whose creative programme, revenue stream and volunteer team we are building up.

Our new strategic leader will come with insights, creativity, curiosity and a record of success. We`re looking for someone with:

• Experience insenior leadership, ideally within the arts, cultural or nonprofit sectors
• Success in fundraising, grant acquisition, budgeting and financial oversight.
• The ability to manage complex issues,solve problems and drive results
