J.P. Morgan seeks a Senior Lead Architect to guide architecture for the Atlas enterprise cloud platform across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will shape tooling, governance, and workload placement in collaboration with engineers, product managers, and business lines.

Qualifications

• Strong solutions architecture across public clouds.
• Cloud-native software experience.
• Hands-on coding in Python or Go.
• Ability to work independently across teams and potentially remote.

Responsibilities

• Guides architectural decisions for the enterprise cloud platform and advises tenant applications on workload placement across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Works with partner teams and lines of business to ensure the platform is the leading cloud platform for JP Morgan and the financial services industry.
• Evaluates new cloud technologies with evolving business requirements and provides governance feedback.
• Provides technical guidance to business and teams, contractors, and vendors as a domain SME in workload placement across clouds.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives product design, application functionality, and technical operations decisions.
• Leads adoption of enterprise AI capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Contributes to engineering community by promoting SDLC frameworks, tools, and practices.
• Influences peers and leaders to adopt leading-edge technologies.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
• Establishes guardrails for AI-assisted workflows with traceability and security controls.
