Job summary

Melksham Gardens in Melksham, Wiltshire, is opening as a brand-new 80-bed care home. We seek an experienced Executive Chef to lead the kitchen, create menus, and deliver an exceptional dining and hospitality experience for residents from day one.

You’ll manage a first-class catering service, work with suppliers, oversee budgeting and food hygiene, and develop a team to establish dining standards that residents and families will value daily.

Qualifications

• Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of ingredients.
• Experience in developing menus and catering for residents.
• Ability to lead, inspire and develop a hospitality team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a first-class catering service and dining experience for residents.
• Develop menus, plan special events and dining experiences.
• Lead and develop the hospitality team and manage costs.
• Work with suppliers to source quality ingredients and meet dietary needs.
