Job Opportunity: Executive Chef

We are currently recruiting for an Executive Chef to continually develop the food offer for ISS Food Services and deliver innovation to our clients. The role involves establishing new food concepts relevant to business needs, mobilizing new contracts, providing craft training, inspiring the team, and developing in line with business growth and ISS Food Services strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Evaluate proposed and required changes to services, identifying financial, personnel, and operational performance implications prior to confirmation and implementation of service changes.
2. Understand, develop, and implement current food trends and ideas into the business.
3. Identify areas for craft development and implement necessary training.
4. Develop a culture of sharing best practices and elevating food standards of ISS Food Services.
5. Ensure the use of nominated suppliers for relevant supplies.
6. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to food safety, operations management, and recruitment.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Senior chef experience.
• Ability to drive results, coach, and mentor chefs, supporting capability development and succession planning.
• Qualifications such as 7061/7062 or equivalent in food preparation and production.
• Minimum Level 3 food hygiene or equivalent.
• Passion for food and service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial understanding with a proven track record.
• Experience in tendering for new business.
