This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of St Margaret's Hospice, partnering closely with the CEO, Executive Team and Board of Trustees. You'll have visibility across the organisation, contribute to strategic priorities and play a key part in ensuring our leadership and governance arrangements enable outstanding care for people across Somerset.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with senior leaders, trustees, colleagues and external stakeholders, helping ensure the smooth running of executive, corporate and governance activity across the hospice.
This is a key role supporting the CEO, Executive Team and wider organisation through professional, proactive and strategically focused business support. You will work closely with the CEO and Executive Team to anticipate priorities, coordinate activity across the organisation and maintain oversight of actions, commitments and governance requirements. Through effective planning, communication and follow-through, you will help support delivery of organisational priorities and strategic objectives. You will also provide high-quality support to the Board and committees, including meeting coordination, agenda and paper preparation, minute taking, action tracking and governance record keeping.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Experience supporting Boards or Trustees, and experience within a charity, healthcare or regulated environment, would be advantageous.
