ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive or Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Leeds office. This role is well-suited to someone with solid commercial experience—ideally within a large consultancy environment—and a strong track record in the residential sector, particularly across Build to Rent (BtR) and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cost management services on high-profile residential developments
  • Provide strategic cost advice from early-stage feasibility through to project completion
  • Manage client relationships and represent the consultancy at a senior level
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and design consultants
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, contributing to team growth and capability
  • Support business development and contribute to bid and proposal work

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven consultancy experience, ideally within a large or multidisciplinary firm
  • Strong sector knowledge of BtR and PBSA projects
  • Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to lead complex projects
  • MRICS qualified or working towards chartership (preferred but not essential)
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with strong commercial awareness
