The Role: Executive Assistant to the Head of People, Ratings

The Team: The People Partners team at S&P Global Ratings is dedicated to fostering a People Forward culture, emphasizing diversity, collaboration, and community-driven decision-making. As part of our commitment to strategic execution, we seek an Executive Assistant who can provide exceptional support to the Head of People, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Calendar Management: Maintain the Head of People's calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and travel. Exercise independent judgment in calendar management, anticipating preparation and travel needs. Provide support for the wider People Partners leadership team as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with senior executives and external partners. Engage with Executive Assistants for key stakeholders to establish clear expectations and ensure timely completion of deliverables aligned with strategic goals.
  • Project Management Support: Assist in the strategic execution of initiatives and projects for the People Partners team. Collaborate with team leaders to define project objectives, set agendas, and organize logistics for meetings and offsites. Ensure that all project-related materials and technology requirements are prepared and tested in advance to facilitate successful outcomes.
  • Expense Management & Reporting: Create and submit timely and accurate monthly expense reports for the Head of People, ensuring compliance with the Global Expense and Card Policy, deadlines, and addressing any questions proactively.
  • Business Travel Coordination: Arrange seamless business travel in line with the Global Travel Policy . Remain responsive to changes or delays that may impact the Head of People's commitments, ensuring all travel documentation is thorough and up to date.
  • Records Management and Reporting: Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials. Maintain a central repository for all relevant information (travel, schedules, expenses) and provide historical references as needed. Collect and analyze information to prepare reports that support the team's strategic execution.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Manage sensitive communications with a high level of discretion, ensuring the confidentiality of all information, including privileged communications and matters.
  • Support for Strategic Projects: Assist with the execution of projects related to People initiatives, communications, and reputation management, ensuring alignment with the team's strategic goals.
What We're Looking For:
  • At least 5 years of administrative experience in a corporate setting.
  • Strong experience in scheduling and managing complex, dynamic executive schedules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines.
  • A strategic thinker who takes initiative and can organize activities and processes effectively.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
  • A high degree of maturity, honesty, trust, and integrity, fostering these qualities in others.
  • Outgoing, straightforward, and creative.
  • Passionate about the mission and vision of S&P Global.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable working with remote employees.
  • Ability to interact with management and executives, handling confidential information appropriately.
  • Hybrid Work Model: This position requires working from the office two days a week.
