A role at Club L is more than a job, it’s a lifestyle for the innovative, inspired and intuitive thinker.

The Role

We are seeking a world-class Executive Assistant (EA) to support the Group CEO of a diversified portfolio of businesses spanning multiple sectors and geographies. This is a rare and high-impact opportunity to partner closely with a dynamic and visionary leader at the helm of a rapidly evolving group with a global footprint.

The role is high-trust, fast-paced, and intellectually engaging—supporting a high-performing CEO who leads across companies with a demanding international schedule. You will act as a critical right hand, ensuring the CEO’s time, energy, and focus are optimised across business operations, strategic initiatives, board responsibilities, and key relationships.

Working as part of a high-functioning Executive Office, you will be central to the rhythm of the Group and instrumental in enabling the CEO to operate at maximum effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Diary & Inbox Management

  • Manage a complex and dynamic calendar spanning multiple businesses, time zones, and international locations
  • Anticipate, prioritise, and resolve scheduling conflicts while ensuring strategic alignment of time
  • Monitor and triage high volumes of correspondence with discretion and strategic judgement
  • Prepare the CEO with agendas, briefings, and context for all meetings and engagements

Global Travel & Logistics

  • Coordinate international travel across multiple regions and business lines, including flights, visas, accommodations, and high-level itineraries
  • Manage logistics for offsite meetings, board sessions, and investor engagements
  • Maintain agility to respond to last-minute travel changes or emergent opportunities

Executive & Personal Support

  • Serve as a trusted proxy for the CEO in internal and external communications
  • Draft, review, and manage sensitive documents, reports, and board-level presentations
  • Conduct research and create briefing materials on strategic initiatives, markets, and partners
  • Attend meetings as needed, track key actions, and ensure timely follow-through

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Act as the CEO’s liaison with board members, senior leadership, investors, and strategic partners
  • Communicate on the CEO’s behalf with clarity, warmth, and professionalism
  • Help build and maintain trusted relationships across business and industry.
  • Represent the Executive Office with professionalism, warmth, and discretion

Project & Initiative Oversight

  • Drive select cross-functional or CEO-led initiatives from concept through execution
  • Support the CEO’s involvement in industry events and group-wide brand moments
  • Liaise with PR, marketing, and communications teams on executive visibility and positioning

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain and refine executive systems including document management, contact databases, and process workflows
  • Track and reconcile expenses; manage light finance administration for the Executive Office
  • Oversee VIP logistics, corporate gifting, and group-wide executive protocols

Confidentiality & Discretion

  • Navigate high-pressure and sensitive environments with absolute professionalism and confidentiality
  • Exercise sound judgement and emotional intelligence in all aspects of the role

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a senior-level EA role supporting a CEO, Chairperson, or Group Executive—ideally in multi-entity or global environments
  • Location: Manchester-based or open to relocation
  • Global Acumen: Demonstrated ability to support international operations and executive travel
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English; confident communicator with senior stakeholders
  • Professionalism: Composed, trustworthy, and emotionally intelligent under pressure
  • Initiative: Proactive, solutions-oriented, and thrives in autonomous environments
  • Organisation: Meticulous attention to detail, structured thinking, and deadline-driven
  • Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools
  • Cultural Intelligence: Comfortable navigating multicultural, cross-border business dynamics

Who You Are

You’re a composed, agile, and highly capable Executive Assistant who operates with precision, discretion, and grace under pressure. You understand the pace and complexity of supporting a Group CEO who leads multiple businesses, and you bring a rare combination of strategic thinking and operational execution. You are deeply loyal, unflappable, and motivated by enabling leadership at the highest level.
