Job Description

A highly impressive and successful medical research start-up firm is seeking a dynamic EA to support their Founder with daily and strategic business needs. Based in their beautiful headquarters in Cambridge, you will be the go-to person, supporting with traditional EA duties, and also involved in project work and events. This is an incredible role with great benefits and exciting plans for the upcoming year.

The role itself:

  • Diary and inbox management
  • International travel coordination
  • Legal and compliance support
  • Office management
  • Design and branding
  • Relationship management
  • Coordinating events and projects

Key qualities and experience:

  • Previous experience in a start-up environment (preferred)
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and act as a gatekeeper
  • Proactive attitude and flexibility to wear many hats
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (essential)
  • Financial acumen with experience in tools like Xero or similar (essential)
  • Familiarity with HR practices and employment regulations (desirable)
  • Project management skills with a detail-oriented approach (essential)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Slack) (essential)
  • Effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders (essential)
  • Experience with project management platforms like Jira (desirable)
