Job overview

Fixed term Full Time Specialist Physiotherapist, Pelvic Health Band 6 at University Hospitals Dorset, based between Poole and Christchurch sites, with some off-site work, such as supporting mass clinics at Royal Bournemouth. The role involves supporting the pelvic health physiotherapy team to improve the referral-to-treatment pathway for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction.

You will have:

  • A Degree (BSc Hons Physiotherapy) or equivalent
  • Experience applying clinical reasoning to various pelvic health cases, preferably with complex cases
  • MSK experience and understanding of onward MSK care
  • Knowledge of Badgernet or similar maternity systems and familiarity with acute care for perinatal inpatients
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and leading patient groups

Main duties include providing evidence-based care, mentoring, supporting service development, and working across sites. The role requires team collaboration, solution-finding skills, and commitment to CPD. Interest in POGP membership is desirable.
