Executive Assistant - Research & Academic Industry

Your new company
An Academic and Research & Health facility in South Central Manchester, at the forefront of innovation.

Your new role
Executive Assistant - University, 5 Days a Week, 100% onsite, Temporary – 2 months with potential extension, £19 to £22 per hour plus holiday pay.
Salary: £35k to £40k per annum (equivalent).
You will provide first-rate executive support to the executive team and senior staff, acting as a key administrative point of contact. You will ensure questions, issues, and concerns are addressed effectively via emails and other correspondence. Key duties include complex diary management, organising meetings and travel arrangements, and taking notes and minutes with follow-up actions for senior staff. You will also support the preparation of meetings and assist in managing projects such as events within the organisation.

This dynamic and demanding role requires considerable flexibility. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be an experienced EA/PA/Senior Administrator. This varied administrative role demands flexibility and adaptability. Working hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday, onsite. Previous administration and secretarial experience within the academic, research, or health sector is essential, along with a professional manner. Excellent communication skills and a polite, friendly approach are also required.
