The Global Student Recruitment and Admissions directorate delivers marketing, student recruitment and admissions services in partnership with Faculties, creating strategies to attract growing numbers of students from across global markets, as well as from the UK.
As a directorate we are responsible for the delivery of student recruitment targets, ensuring cohesive recruitment strategies and planning from lead generations and attraction, admissions, through to conversion and enrolment.
About The Role
The Executive Assistant and Projects Officer will provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the Director of Global Student Recruitment and Admissions.
The role will provide professional administrative support to include governance support, meeting secretariat, arranging travel, diary management and routine financial operations on behalf of the senior leadership team, supporting budget and purchase order management.
The role will provide proactive support for projects as required.
This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential Criteria
- Educated to degree level and/or proven relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication including the ability to draft documents and correspondence autonomously to a broad range of audiences
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AI tools and other office software
- Experience in budget tracking and reporting, and managing purchase orders
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to form and maintain excellent relationship with stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to work on own initiative, able to identify and resolve issues promptly and/or escalating where required.
Desirable criteria
- Experience working in the Higher Education sector

Grade and Salary: £38,482- £43,249 Inclusive of London Weighting Allowance
