Civica is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Chief Corporate Development Officer (CCDO) in London. As Executive Assistant to our Chief Corporate Development Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our M&A and corporate development agenda. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you will ensure the CCDO operates effectively and efficiently while delivering on our ambitious growth strategy. You'll work at the heart of strategic decision-making - liaising with senior stakeholders, coordinating complex projects, and keeping everything running seamlessly behind the scenes. This role offers exceptional exposure to high-level corporate transactions and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Civica's continued expansion.

What you will do to be successful in this role as Executive Assistant

• Provide proactive, high-level administrative and organisational support to the CCDO, managing their schedule, inbox, and priorities with discretion and efficiency

• Coordinate and track critical M&A projects and initiatives, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met across multiple workstreams

• Organise internal and external meetings, including preparation of agendas, materials, and follow-up actions for Board, Executive, and stakeholder presentations

• Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders, maintaining professional relationships and ensuring clear communication across teams and regions

• Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation for Board, Executive, and external audiences with meticulous attention to detail

• Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all matters, particularly in relation to sensitive corporate transactions and strategic initiatives

• Support the wider Corporate Development team with administrative tasks and process improvements, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience supporting C-level executives in a fast-paced, complex environment, ideally within M&A, corporate development, or professional services

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines calmly and effectively

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, professional correspondence and materials for senior audiences

• High attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset

• Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels, across multiple geographies

• Strong discretion and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes
